By using our notary services or scheduling an appointment, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the notary service. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Notary Services

Our services include:

  • Document notarization and witnessing
  • Administering oaths and affirmations
  • Certified copies of documents
  • Mobile notary services at your location
Important: We are notaries, not attorneys. We cannot provide legal advice, explain document contents, or help you prepare documents. For legal advice, please consult an attorney.

3. Your Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide valid, government-issued photo identification
  • Be present in person for notarization (no remote notarizations except as permitted by law)
  • Ensure all signers are present and have valid ID
  • Sign documents in the presence of the notary
  • Documents must be complete and not contain blank spaces
  • Pay all applicable fees at time of service

4. Identification Requirements

Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Current driver's license (state-issued)
  • State-issued identification card
  • United States passport
  • Military identification card
  • Other forms of ID acceptable under applicable state law

Identification requirements vary by state. Generally, ID must be current or issued within the past 5 years and contain a photograph and signature.

5. Fees and Payment

All fees are set in accordance with applicable state law:

  • Standard notary fee: $10 per notarization
  • Mobile service fee: $25 - $75
  • After-hours fee: Additional charges may apply for evening, weekend, or holiday appointments
  • Payment is due at time of service
  • We accept: Cash, Credit Card

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee. Refunds are not provided for completed notarizations, as fees are for the service performed regardless of document acceptance by receiving parties.

7. Mobile Service Terms

For mobile notary services, you agree to provide a safe, accessible location for the notarization. We reserve the right to refuse service if the location is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.

8. Document Recording

As required by state law, we maintain a journal of all notarizations performed where required by applicable state regulations. This journal records the type of notarization, date, type of document, and identification information. These records are kept confidential and stored securely in compliance with state notary laws.

9. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse notarization if:

  • The signer cannot be positively identified
  • The signer does not appear to understand the transaction
  • The signer appears to be under duress or coercion
  • The document is incomplete or contains blanks
  • We believe the notarization would be unlawful or improper

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from our services, including but not limited to damages resulting from document rejection by receiving parties, recording errors, or delays. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific notarization service.

11. Electronic Communication

By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive electronic communications from us regarding appointments, reminders, and service-related information. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the notary service is performed. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of your city, your state.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
